Our Wonderful Teachers
Sally Fischer
Born and raised in the Wolfville area, Sally received her Bachelor of Child Study degree from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax before moving to Ontario for 9 years. While there she worked with Special Needs children; in both an Early
Intervention Program and in a Preschool setting. She returned to Nova Scotia and to her "Valley roots" with her husband and 3 children (now grown) and settled in the Windsor Area. Sally has worked in various programs with preschool children in the area, and has been with the Windsor Nursery School since 1996.
Lisa Lebrasseur
I obtained my Child Development Services Associate (CDSA) Certificate from the Nova Scotia Teachers College in 1986. My decision to go to school to obtain this training was a natural choice and something I thought about doing at an early age. After a few years of working and then being at home with our two children, it is fun to be working with children again and I hope my diverse background brings a special something to the Windsor Nursery School.
Marlene Henry - Substitute
Originally from Cape Breton, Marlene attended St. Joseph's Centre where she received her ECE. Upon graduation she worked for the centre for 2.5 years. She then moved to Sackville and went to work for Mary Poppins Preschool where she worked for Nancy Wallace for 11 years. Marlene moved to Windsor forks and worked at Windsor Day Care for 2 years. Marlene then worked at Windsor Nursery School until retiring at the end of last year. She will continue to subsitute teach at the school.
